Steamaway™ was started in 1985 by Michael Hinderliter. The power washing industry is broad and Steamaway has provided many different services over the years including, truck washing, kitchen exhaust cleaning, drive thru cleaning, factory cleaning, building restoration, house washing, window cleaning, train washing, sidewalk cleaning, gum removal, and many other cleaning projects. Although, Steamaway™ still provides most of these services our primary focus is on the truck washing industry. We learned early on that the industry was lacking in qualified contractors that showed up when scheduled and consistently performed quality work. Therefore it became our mission to provide quality truck washing and industrial cleaning services reliably and consistently. This has given us a strong competitive edge.

Steamaway™ cleans over 6,000 pieces of equipment a month. And we backup our work with a guarantee, if for any reason the quality of service does not meet your standards then we will work to meet those standards or you will not be charged.

Starting in 1992, Steamaway™ has been proactive in developing environmentally compliant cleaning procedures. We have worked with government and industry alike to educate them on environmentally compliant cleaning methods. In 1993, Steamaway™ was the first mobile wash contractor to demonstrate truck washing techniques for the City of Fort Worth that were compliant with environmental laws. Steamaway™, also holds an Environmental Awareness and Cleaning Certification from the Power Washers of North America.
